"Electricity Campaign: The Light of Hope for Al-Ard Al-Tayyiba Camp"
Since the fourth day of the war, electricity has been cut off in Gaza, forcing many families in Al-Ard Al-Tayyiba Camp to rely on solar panels to generate electricity for basic needs such as charging mobile phones, laptops, and some small electrical appliances like blenders. However, this method costs families $15 per person per month, which is a significant financial burden.
Our goal for this campaign is to create an electricity point for the camp to provide this service for free to the displaced people.
We also aim to purchase an electric washing machine and operate it through this point to help women in the camp reduce their suffering from hand-washing clothes under harsh conditions, especially as winter approaches and the hardship increases.
The total cost of this project is $15,000, which will cover the purchase of solar panels, a power conversion and regulation system, and a place to house this electricity point.
Join us in lighting up the lives of these displaced people and easing their suffering.
